Joanna Niedzielska
Joanna Niedzielska is looking for expression through painting, drawing, jewellery making, as well as participation in community projects.
Born and raised in Poland, but has been living in South London since 2013.
Her favourite subject is the London cityscape. The pictures of the city are always intrigued by urban architecture, trying to capture in her works the unique atmosphere of interesting city streets, squares and buildings.
The jewellery she created is mostly made of recycled or upcycled materials.
In the early years of painting, she was interested in geometric forms but soon discovered that she preferred to paint city landscapes. She also likes to paint flora and fauna, which she began to create under the influence of Polish folk art and William Morris' textile designs.
She has a master's degree in Fine Arts from Poland and a Level 3 diploma as an Early Years Educator from the UK. Over the past 4 years, she has participated in several art projects and delivered craft workshops for children under 5 and their families in her local community.
